Really one of that scientist said,

This is an interesting topic Liz. I tend to agree with the scientist who says smoking can make you skinny. However as I have not read his research paper I don't know if I agree with his reasons for making that statement.

I think that people who smoke a lot tend to eat less because they are already doing something to fill in their time. Some people eat because they are bored and want something to do with their hands.

If you are smoking you usually don't eat at the same time so maybe in that way you will be skinnier.

However, smoking is definitely a health hazard and this has been proved. When you smoke you cut down the amount of oxygen in your blood and this can cause many problems over time like stroke, heart disease and many kinds of cancer.

So the benefits you gain from being a little skinnier from smoking are not enough for the disadvantage of dying younger and in a very painful way.

I think they are just crazy.

If they said "smoking makes me cool" or something like that, I agree with them. But skinny...?
I can't believe...

I think it can be, but it isn't good way to diet, at all.
I don't want to smoke in my life, anyway.
